KLCC as seen from Jalan Jelatek

I stopped by at Jalan Jelatek one morning after driving my wife to her office. The weather was pleasantly clear and haze-free the blue sky made its rare appearance and I couldnt resist taking some pictures. From Jalan Jelatek you can see KLCC which is not that far and I knew the potential pictures were there. I parked my car, took out my tripod and shot away...

These are 3 chosen pictures out of almost a dozen I think....

Well Ansel Adams once said he was lucky enough if he bagged one good picture in one month....huh?

An ordinary thing

My attempt in presenting ordinary things in an unusual appearance.

Stumbled on this scene when I was about to have an evening tea with family in Sg Buloh. What attracted me was the brilliant colours of red and yellow chairs illuminated by the warm light of the late evening sun light....

Low light and long shadow

I am a sucker for sidelit object because it gives dramatic impact with long shadow and it accentuates the texture. The sidelighting also more often than not cast warm light either from late evening sunlight or early morning light.

One of my photography sifus says partially lit subject is much more interesting than fully lit one.

How true.

A Dancing Cloud

A Dancing Cloud
It's Maghrib Time
Many a photographer love to shoot unique and unusual formation of cloud maybe as one of their self-expression. There are many factors that draw them to shoot with the reasons only known to them. I couldn't resist shooting this unique formation when it appeared before me while I went shooting the Shah Alam Mosque one evening.

I entitle mine "A Dancing Cloud" because the cloud looks as if it rose from its formation and started to perform a dance. On the other hand it also looks like a brush stroke of paint done by an artist on a canvas...well it depends on the way you look at it. In whatever way you look at it, it is actually the beauty of the God-created nature.

The second picture is the shot of The Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Mosque that I managed to bag on that day. That's the best one out of several shots (The best in my eyes lahh) which is entitled "It's Maghrib Time" as I shot this at the beginning of the maghrib prayer time.

Do enjoy the picture
